Akemi started out with 40k subscribers when he joined AKA Virtual on 1 September 2022. He hit his 100,000-subscriber milestone in January 2023 and was the first AKA Virtual talent to achieve 1 million subscribers later in May the same year, earning his Gold YouTube Award.
Akemi Nekomachi is an orange cat VTuber. He creates engaging short-form content on YouTube that spurred him into stardom with his Indonesian fanbase.
